This year BC Gymnastics Championships took place in Langley Events Centre on April 8-10.  Marble Gymnastics has total 13 gymnasts participated in the meet with different categories - Provincial Level,  HP Argo, HP Tyro and National Youth.  

For our 8 provincial level boys, it is their 1^st time in BC championship.   It is a good learning experience for them and all of them are doing well.  Moreover George and Jordan gained Gold All Around.

BC Championships also is one of trial event to Canadian Championships.  Gymnasts meet the qualifying score can be selected into the 2011 National Team to compete in 2011 Canadian Championships – Charlottetown, PEI.   Since our Argo gymnast Thomas and Tyro gymnast Sasha just trained on their categories for 8 months only, it still have lot of the room for them to improve.  However they met the qualifying score.  Moreover, Thomas is the youngest gymnast in BC Championships meets the qualifying score in his category!

This year Marble Gymnastics continues be one of the partner of "Spring Break DREAM Camp" that organized by Surrey School District.  Our coaches visited 8 elementary schools during the 2 weeks spring break (Mar 21-Apr 1,2011) to provide gymnastics lessons.  The kids are having fun.  And we are glad to have the chance to help our young generation to build a healthy life style!

Meet session begins. Marble has total 11 boys (5 National & High Performance, 6 Provincial Level) participated in Surrey Invitational 2011 (Mar 4-5, 2011 in Guildford Recreational Center, Surrey BC).  In Provincial Level, 5 out of 6 got Silver all around and George got Gold all around.  Most of them begin their gymnastics training less than a year; the results have proved their hard work! 

In National & HP, Sacha got 3rd in Tyro. Brian and Thomas are selected to Western Canadian Championships (Apr 28-30, 2011 in Grande Prairie, AB).
